GRADE,GREY,GELDING. (EMERALD) $3500
I firmly believe that this 10-year-old gelding, Emerald, will be one of the most beautiful horse we've ever own in our ranch. Even a photo can't do him justice. And let's face it, it costs the same to feed a gorgeous one as it does an average one!
Emerald has carried everyone from ages 5 to 65 in my barn. He’s not just stunning, he’s incredibly gentle, kind, and well-trained. He saddles up the same way every single day, whether you're riding him in the arena, with or without a bridle, out in the field, or down the road. He’s a phenomenal trail horse—navigating water, rocks, and leading the group over bridges with ease. He’s earned his keep around here: we’ve pushed cattle on him, and he’s well-versed with a rope. He has a smooth rocking horse lope and can turn around one-handed without a hitch.
When you open his stall, he’s all about attention, like a golden retriever in horse form. He knows how to please people and loves every second of it! What’s even better? He’s by far the CLEANEST horse in our barn, always going to the bathroom in one corner—honestly, that alone makes him worth his weight in gold! He trailers, ties, bathes, and stands for the farrier like a total gentleman. I can’t think of a single real vice with him.
In my opinion, he is as close to perfect as a horse can get.

GRADE,PALOMINO,GELDING. (BRUNO) $3500
Bruno got his start in cow horse training, and he’s got all the right moves that come with a solid foundation. With a smooth turnaround, an excellent stop, and the ability to move his body exactly where it needs to be, he’s a dream to ride.
Bruno is the definition of quiet, gentle, and easygoing. It's not every day you come across a horse like him. I’d trust just about anyone on his back. If you can hold a set of reins, you’ll have no trouble navigating this guy—and you’ll love every minute of it.
He’s been used for sorting pairs, pushing roping steers, and doctoring calves at home. Bruno can ride with a bridle or without one. He’s also been down the trail—through water, woods, and has logged plenty of miles at State Parks. He’s lived like a horse should—used for work, enjoyed for leisure, and exposed to all the "funny" stuff—tarps, yoga balls, ropes, and whatever else you’d think he’d be curious about. He barely even lifts an ear to anything new.
He’s been fed well and maintained at a solid 1350 lbs, standing 15 hands tall. His coat darkens to a rich, golden palomino that catches the eye. Bruno saddles up the same way every single day—no bucks, no rears, and not even a tail swish. A horse that anyone can trust, even after sitting idle on a round bale, and still rides the same every time? That’s a gem.
Bruno has no vices, is up-to-date on all his vetting, and is ready for his next adventure. At his prime age, you can put a few pounds back on him and bring him back to the cowhorse life, ranch riding, or simply have him as a dependable trail partner for the family.
